Beginner's Chinese Calligraphy Workshop

Join us for this beginners workshop and learn the fine art of Chinese Calligraphy with San Francisco-based artist Jojo Liu!  We're celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, so we'll have all the supplies you need to learn this time-honored artistic tradition. Jojo will join us virtually to teach us how to start creating beautiful Chinese calligraphy, and you can try your hand with a brush, ink, and paper (all supplies included and will be shared).

Jojo Liu is an art instructor with the Pacific Art League. Inspired by her grandfather, she has been teaching Chinese calligraphy to audiences across the country. This is a free, in person event being held at Hicksville Public Library. Please note the class is conducted in English, and the instructor will translate our calligraphy as we draw. Registration required and begins on May 1.
